Qualifier
(Dunlop)
"SPORTMAXX Qualifier" is a global flagship tire co-developed by the DUNLOP Group in Japan, USA and Europe. It is the successor of the "SPORTMAXX D208 Type G" that has maintained a high reputation since 2003. Using DUNLOP's own digital simulation technology as well as information obtained from the International Motor Race fields, DUNLOP has succeeded in attaining total balance performance in grip, driving stability, and wear-resistance.
Advantages of "SPORTMAXX Qualifier"
1) Qualified compound
The newly developed high polymer formula rubber compound provides exceptional dry grip performance, and thermal deformation-resistance.
2) Pattern
By incorporating a center wave groove ( front only ) and a long lateral groove, excellent hydroplaning performance has been shown hydroplaning simulation in order to secure wet performance.
Further, there is a decrease in noise which is due to the optimized modulating groove distribution applied through noise simulation of the 5 pitch chaos arrangement technology as originated by DUNLOP's own technology.
3) Profile
By adopting the new profile, excellent cornering performance is maintained.
4) Structure
The front tire incorporates 2 cut breakers which provides excellent and precise performance.
The construction of the rear tire incorporates the Jointless Belt structure ( JBL ), where stiff aramid fibers are continuously wound in a circumferential direction. This provides excellent driving stability during high speeds, in spite of its light weight. By adopting a flexible nylon fiber material for the carcass, high shock absorbency is ensured in both the front and rear tires. |
